IVT, or intravitreal injection, is a treatment primarily used for retinal diseases such as wet AMD (age-related macular degeneration), diabetic retinopathy, or certain vascular alterations. It may also be indicated for other pathologies, such as posterior uveitis.

Visual examination

A comprehensive visual examination is performed by one of our ophthalmologists to ensure that you have no contraindications for this treatment.

Preparation for injection

Patient preparation: anesthesia and dressing (gown, shoe covers, and hairnet).

The patient is positioned lying down on the chair.

Intravitreal injection

The ophthalmologist performs the injection under Betadine antisepsis, followed by an ocular rinse.

Bonjour tout c'est bien passé accueil agréable la consultation dans les différentes pièces du centre un peu difficile lorsque vous souffrer d'un handicap, mais le personnel vous aide.
Sinon 1 ou 2 chaises un peu plus haute en salle d'attente seraient les bien venu pour s'asseoir et ce relever plus facilement pour les personnes handicapés comme moi.
Sinon sur une facture de mémoire de 115€ la sécurité sociale vous rembourse 14€ et après la prise en charge de votre mutuel il vous reste 45€ à votre charge.
Les personnes à faible revenus pourront bientôt plus ce soigner avec notre système actuel.
